1. The QR code generator runs in your browser

The text, links, Wi-Fi details, contact details and logos you type into the generator are turned into a QR code inside your own browser. We do not require an account or login, and we do not receive or store the content of the QR codes you create.

2. Information we receive

Contact form and email

If you send us a message through the Contact page, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you type. We use it only to reply to you. The message is emailed to us and saved in our website database so that we can answer and keep a record of support requests. If our own mail system is unavailable, the form may send the same message through the Web3Forms email service instead.

Automatically collected data

Like most websites, our hosting provider and our analytics tools may automatically receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring page and the date and time of your visit.

3. Third-party services, cookies and advertising

We use the following third-party services. They may set cookies or similar technologies and process the data described in their own policies:

• Google Analytics – measures how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device). How Google uses data from sites that use its services.
• Google AdSense – we have applied to show Google ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. We will only show ads after our application is approved.
• Google Fonts – loads the fonts used on the site, which sends your IP address to Google.
• Google Translate – loaded only when you open the language selector, to translate the page.
• Web3Forms – backup delivery of contact-form messages, as described above.
• Hostinger – hosts the website, its files and its database.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices, or, if you are in the European Union, at www.youronlinechoices.eu.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share information only with the service providers listed above who help us run the website, when required by law, or to protect our rights and the safety of users. We do not share contact-form messages with advertisers.

6. Retention

Contact-form messages are kept for as long as needed to answer you and keep a support record, and are deleted on request. Analytics and server logs are kept by the respective providers according to their own retention settings.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the European Economic Area and UK, or the CCPA in California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use these rights, email us at the address below. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Security

We use HTTPS and standard security measures on our server. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

HAYAQR is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where local law requires), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International transfers

Our service providers (for example Google and Hostinger) may process data in countries other than your own, including countries whose data-protection laws differ from yours.

11. Links to other sites

Our pages and blog articles may link to other websites. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it last changed. Continued use of the website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
